Business description

We would like to introduce our 2 food producing companies, based in Sofia, Bulgaria.

The plants are built under an existing plant with all communications and are funded with personal investment or around 7 800 000EUR.

Both companies are for sale. The selling price is 3 500 000 euro and include the production plant, all technical equipment, permissions, certificates, company brands, know how and markets.


COMPANY 1:

This is a plant for production of IQF frozen fruits & vegetables; preservation and has a total built up area of 7800 m². The production facilities have an excellent location – 300 m. from the main East West Highway, 100m from a railway station, 22 km from Sofia and only 40 to 100 km from the main vegetable and fruit production regions in Bulgaria.
Building is complete and received permission to use in July 2005
The power supply is secured by 2 independent sources and the water supply – by 3 independent sources. Natural gas supply is also available, own electricity, central heating, kitchen, bar/restaurant/, administrative part, hotel part, etc. The rest premises are described in plans of attachment 1.

The processing, freezing and storing capacities of the plants are among the largest in Bulgaria.

The technology used ensures precise class selection of raw materials, sophisticated technologies of food processing, freezing and packing, according to EU hygienic regulations and quality control systems. The plants are obtaining HACCP.

The equipment used is from established producers like “CFS-Koppens”, “Urshel”, “Cabinplant”, “Herbort”, “Goztepe”, “FSK” and others, including the largest green beans processing line with 4 t/h capacity, equipped with “Femia”, “Herbort” and “Levatti” machinery.

The machines are well-arranged in a multifunctional line for producing frozen fruits as the listed described assortment:

1. Frozen vegetables: assortment – green peas, sweet corn, cauliflower, broccoli, pepper, green French beans, mushrooms, onion, tomatoes, pumpkins, vegetables mix.
2. Frozen fruits – raspberry, blackberry, strawberry, black currants, blueberry, hip, blackthorn.
3. Frozen half fried potatoes.
4. Frozen breaded potatoes with seasoned type Wedges.
5. Frozen vegetables and vegetarian burgers and croquets.
6. A special technology producing doses of “PAOLO LEVATTI” and cannery equipment “FEMIA” with capacity of 60 to 80tons/24h.
This line for canned food is not yet operational.
The packing of the goods is made from machine with a multi- functional head with capacity of 50pieces/min. and 10pieces semi-automatic machines and electrical scales.
The processing equipment gives the possibility to perform a complete processing cycle from the row material to the blanched or frozen product.
Fridge capacity is “SABORE” with 2x355kw and 2x220kw.It has 2 IQF tunnels, 3.6t/h and 1 with 2.2t/h, also a stationary with capacity of 800kg/h for treatment of 6tons production/h. It can keep 2500-3000tons production of 12 500m³ and they allow the development of logistic center.
We have active business and contracts with countries like Germany, Poland, Turkey, Austria, Greece, Russia. Here in our market we have contracts with trade chains such as “Metro”, “Billa”, “Kaufland”, “Hit Hiper market”, “Fantastiko”, “Europa” and others who have over 2 000 super markets in the country.

We have own laboratory, HACCP system.



COMPANY 2:

The plant is just next to the first one and has a total built up area of 2 200m2. The company is profiled in production of culinary meat, meat and vegetable half-finished products cutting factory for big and small cuts of pork and veal meat.

It has all kinds of machinery technically listed in attachment 5 and 6.

Building is complete and received permission to use in November 2005. It has all certificates required from the European Union. It obtained also HACCP system.

The used machinery are for first and second meat treatment – “LASKA”, “GUNTER”, “BIZERBA” and for the latest generation line of ”CFS-Koppens”, spiral tunnel for freezing, shock camera, heat forming machine for packing, etc. They allow production of high quality frozen and chilled meat and vegetable-meat products of pork, beef and chicken meat.

1. Raw production – minced meat, sausages, cebapcici, fillets, shoulders, wings, steaks, etc.
2. Cool pressed /chilled/ - steaks, burgers,, etc.
3. Heat treated burgers, steaks, cebapcici etc.
4. Fried in egg frozen products – burgers, croquets, baby spit, bits, etc. / 7t/24h /
5. Cutting factory for big and small cuts of pork and veal meat and automatic machine PALGA for production of brooches / 14t/24h /.

The plant has refrigerators with total area of 4 700m³ with own transport and distributor chain for 800 super markets, including trade chains:
“Metro”, “Billa”, “Kaufland”, “Hit Hipermarket”, “Fantastiko”, “Europa”, “CBA”, “HRANSKOMERS” etc.

We also import and export in Brazil, Argentina, USA, Canada, Poland, Germany, Austria, Spain, Greece, Belgian, Turkey to 10 000tons/year.

After Bulgaria’s accession in EU it is clear that it goes not only for machinery, buildings, equipment and a wide range of goods, but and for successful future business.

P.S. : The plant of meat revision may be using for revision and freezing of mushrooms, fruits and vegetables, without additional investment.
