The vendor has created a carpark, excellent facilities including toilets, with disabled facility, and shower block for his fellow anglers. He originally had to form and create an access road to the lakes, provide elctricity to the lodge and work vigorously to improve the enviroment, bringing it back to its former beauty.

There are two lakes. Both lakes have natural spring water which is perfect for breeding.

The first lake has 45 pegs and is populated with circa 3 ton of coarse fish, with roach, chubb, tench and rudd. It is open to fish from 8.00am – 8.00pm, and costs seven pounds per day to fish.

The second lake has 14 pegs and is populated with circa 3.5 tons of specimen carp, up to 31lbs in weight. It is open to fish 24hrs per day and costs twenty pounds per day.

Most fishing lodges have a café and retail shop, selling tackle and bait. These add extra income to the turnover.
