The company was established in the year of 1990 for meat production and trade with meat and meat products. In 1992 a workshop for meat processing with capacity 2 tones per shift was built. In 1997 the meat processing factory was enlarged, as new drier chambers, a culinary kitchen and slaughterhouse for pigs and cattle were built. In 1998 the Company bought and overhauled a food store in the central part of Vratsa city. In 2001 the company bought the former pig-breeding farm, a subsidiary of “Cereal foods” AD Sofia, and the fodder kitchen, as well as in 2002 the pig-breeding farm was inhabited with 320 elite sows.
In 2004, in order to adjust the factory for meat production and meat processing in conformity to the European standards and food requirements the company started a project for enlargement and modernisation that encompassed: reconstruction of the existing production premises, building of new additional production premises, replacement of 90% of the old production machines with new ones, construction of freezing complex with 27 fridge chambers, air-conditionings in the working premises in accordance with the European instructions.
In the end of 2006 the project for enlargement and reconstruction ended. For buying the new machines and equipment the company was approved to gain financial support from SAPARD.
