Hawthorne Cottage is a house in its own right. It has a queen size bed situated on a beautiful mezzanine floor which overlooks the downstairs area. This comprises a small kitchen, the bathroom and a spacious lounge, whose focal point is a large open fireplace.

Rose Cottage is a cosy room with a queen size bed and en suite bathroom.

Bramble Cottage has two large twin beds, with en suite bathroom. The lounge area has a wood-burning fireplace.

The Fountain View suite is located in the main house. It comprises a large double room, a separate room with two single beds, a spacious bathroom and another toilet with washbasin.

Guests share their travelling experiences while enjoying a traditional English breakfast seated around the large table in our farmhouse-style kitchen

The enchanting town of Dullstroom in the scenic Mpumalanga Highlands is just 2½ hours drive from Johannesburg. It is a favourite stop over for travellers visiting the Lowveld, Kruger National Park and the many private game reserves. It is also a popular destination for weekend visitors who enjoy the fly-fishing and many other outdoor activities. The town has many fine restaurants, cosy pubs and country shops.
Situated at 2100 metres (7000 feet) above sea level the town enjoys a temperate climate with crisp, dry winters.
