Scimitar Electronics is a retailer of Electronics. We are solely an online-based company established in December 2006. We sell Pc’s Laptops, Computer parts, DVD players, VCD players, Plasma TV’s, Stereos systems, Cameras & much more.

The sale of the business will include the site, graphics, suppliers, database of thousands of customers and the domain name.

Sales:
The income for the site is approximately EUR 5,000 – EUR10,000 per month. Sales have slightly declined since I have not been able to give a full commitment for a few months. To achieve these sales figures again you will need to do a product update, answers customer queries, quotes etc.

Costs:
The cost of running the site is very low approximately EUR 300 per month. The expenses are as follows - Hosting; EUR 20 per month Domain Registration; EUR 110 per year e-Marketing: EUR 250 per month.

Profits:
I work on a profit margin of 20-30% on cost of sales of the products. Hence, net profits are approximately EUR 1,250-EUR 2,500 per month. The following formula is used to calculate net profit. Net Profits = (Sales* Profit Margin) -Costs.

Inventory:
The goods are sent directly from the supplier to the customer. When an order is made in the site the supplier is automatically notified of the order by e-mail and the goods are dispatched to the respective customers.

Credit Card Processing:
Credit cards are being processed via Worldpay. You will be given a chance to accept the order. Once you accept the order Worldpay will charge you 4.5% + VAT per transaction. You will need to open an IMA account with Worldpay.
Customer Services:
All customer inquiries are handled via e-mail. Currently we receive 5-10 sales type e-mails per day. Replying to customer inquires may take approximately 2-10 mins per inquiry.

Hosting:
I am hosting the site with Global Conventions. I am reasonably satisfied my hosting company -Global Conventions. If you wish to continue hosting the site with Global Conventions you may do so. Otherwise you can host the site anywhere else. The hosting requirements are as follows.

• Bandwidth – 50GB
• ASP Support
• FrontPage Support

Supplier:
We are in the process of making changes to our Web site. We are changing the supplier. I decided to change suppliers because they offered products with better quality and value for money. Our new supplier is Northamber. You will need to open up a Cash with Order Trade Account. For this application they might ask you to submit Business Registration details. Try to get this business registered in your country.

I want to sell the site because I need money and time for a new project of mine. My new project requires excessive traveling as a result I am unable to spend sufficient time on the business especially answering various customer inquiries.
