The major application of this IP Package is electrical energy conversion, storage & regeneration for industrial and commercial environments, in mid-larger size range 1kw to 250kw+.

The scope is broad, applying SCR (silicon controlled rectifier) technology for AC:DC & AC:AC power supplies,
controls & regulators, and IGBT (isolated gate bipolar transistor) technology for DC:AC sinewave inversion & conversion power supplies.
Applied key designs & controllers for Transformer-Rectifiers, (DC Power Supplies, Rectiformers), Battery Chargers, an advanced range of SCR Controlled Electromagnet power supplies, Sinewave Inverters, Power Frequency converters, SCR variable AC supplies, AC static transfer switching, and UPS equipment is included.
Supplementary applied designs & procedures are included for Transformers, Chokes, and incidentally Ferro-Resonant Transformers for Line-Conditioning & Constant Voltage Transformers, as well as incidental Type Tested designs for high current switchgear busbars and Switchgear/Control Gear assemblies (as Motor Control Centres).

The major items include all the controller schematic designs, printed circuit board layouts (PCBs), PCBs, microprocessor 'C' programs, PLD programs, testjigs, applied power key schematic diagrams, applied power key equipment layout drawings , and the software & workshop facility for the development and limited manufacture.
There is a comprehensive laboratory testing facility with power supplies, load banks, electromagnetic compatibility (emc) emissions measurement, emc transient generation facility for immunities testing, and usual power quality test & measurement facility.

General Info:-
The Company was formed in 1977, occupies an Office/Laboratory/Workshop of 220 sq.m, and generally employs 2 key engineers, accesses a few external specialist consultants, & sometimes with a few extras for production.
Over the 34 yr period, most of the business activity has been in the applied R&D for the above products, with limited jobbing manufacture in those specialised areas to finance the operation & remain functional.
The company has a good record & history of it's progressive products over this period.
The Company has averaged financial break-even, due to the R&D attention, limited manufacturing ability and lack of marketing, is solvent with a small carried forward loss.
As such, a trading result value is not appropriate or applicable, as over 85% of the value of the company is represented by the IP.
The IP is being offered with all the facility, represented by the whole of the company shares.
The principal engineer would be available for handover & support for approx 1 year, prior to retirement, whilst the assistant engineer would be prepared to negotiate continuing key man employment.
