If you are willing to spend more than 1-2 hours a day there is definately more potential. Learning about search engines, key words and placements or researching other advertising and marketing tools could bring more business. If you already have this knowledge, you could probably increase business in just a few weeks. I am not an expert in search engine placement and was able to create enough traffic to produce steady sales.
Also, if you make gift baskets yourself or want to add any similar items there is always that opportunity.

Competition / Market:

Gift baskets are one of the most purchased items online. There is much competition, but this website is professional looking, and the products are carefully selected. Similar sized businesses do not have the same quality products and most do not have professional looking websites. The real competition are the big guys, some of which we use as suppliers(they sell to us at wholesale prices). This is not a business for someone looking to make millions running a big business, it is a small business, with a steady income for someone looking to work part time. We also have an established account with a marketing company that offers discounts to several large corporate companies. This makes up a large percentage of our business.

Support & training:

I am willing to work with the new owner for 1-2 weeks at my office in New York . If prefered, it could also be done over the phone. I will also offer ongoing phone support for up to 2 months. However, 2-3 days and a few phone calls is probably all that's needed. I would prefer someone who has basic knowledge of pay per click advertising. To understand the value and the skill set needed to be successful, you will need this basic understanding.

Reasons for selling:

After creating this website and learning about running an online business, I created a second business. The second business has become my sole source of income and I don't have the time to run both. For someone with more time than I have had to devout to it, it could become much bigger. Continuing to run it as I have without making many changes and spending just 1-2 hours a day will continue to produce a net income of at least $10,000 a year.
