Business description

Diesel is bought directly from Sasol via three sub contractors.The best price offered by one of the contractors is then taken for the whole month. Every first Wednesday of the month the diesel price increases. The price of the diesel includes the transportation costs. The litres are then delivered to the depot where 5 x 23 000L tanks are filled. These litres are then sent to the customer base. A minimum of 9000 litres are delivered to a specific client depending on their need. Service is of utmost importance & diesel must be delivered on time. Clients pay upfront and the money is used to purchase the diesel. Selected clients pay by cheque. Each client has a tank on the property .The owner has been in the diesel business for 23 years. He has ventured on his own since 1998 with a partner and in 2003 he opened his own CC with 50/50 split between his wife & himself.
