Business description
All vehicles coming into Spain either as a change of residence or as a straightforward purchase from another EU country have to be re-registered with Spanish national plates within 6 months. carimportinspain.com have been operating in the Barcelona area since 1988. We are able to register UK registered cars, American imports and all cars brought to Spain from within the EU. We receive many enquiries from the Malaga/Marbella areas but, as the final registration process has to take place in the town of the owner's registration, we are unable to proceed. To this end we are offering one franchise opportunity in the Malaga/Marbella area. The succesful applicant will be given full training in the importation and registration of cars. They will need to speak Spanish to, at least, conversation level and will also need an understanding of form filling and the workings of Spanish government buildings. They will also need to be computer literate and, ideally, have a technical understanding of car mechanics although this is not essential. The price for the one franchise is 9,000 euros. There will also be a payment for each registration for the first 18 months. The successful applicant will automatically be forwarded all enquiries received by the carimportinspain.com website for the Malaga/Marbella areas and will also receive ongoing technical support for the first six months.
