The Warwickshire Business Club was taken over by the present organisers in 2002 and they have run more than 50 successful lunchtime meetings – usually in venues in or around Henley in Arden. The average attendance has been between 40 and 50 until very recently when, due to pressures of time on the organisers’ part, attendance has slipped to around 25. The database of attendees past and present stands at in excess of 600 and there is a fully functioning website on which most members make their booking.
The club is currently operating on a bi-monthly basis but would normally meet each month. The club makes a small profit through the meetings and membership fees which is designed to cover the costs of administration.
The present organisers now wish to pass the club on and are willing to do so, to the right party, for a nominal figure. The club will appeal to professional practices, banks or others for whom this kind of networking activity is important.
