The business which commenced trading in the late 1970’s is one of costume jewellery design, manufacture and distribution.

The main customers are departmental stores and boutiques. Distribution is by post or courier.

The jewellery pieces are designed by the company and some of the work is outsourced to overseas factories to be produced. Approximately 40% is produced outside of the UK.

The majority of the business comes from the fashions shows at which the business exhibit and the products are also featured in various magazines including Vogue, Eve, Tatler etc.

The company currently operates out of premises in London which they have occupied for some 18 years but will need to relocate in June as the current lease has expired.

In addition to the vendor there are six staff which includes a General Manager, 2 Design staff, 2 packers and an PA/PR. There are approximately 6 outworkers engaged on a self employed basis.
