All the self-catering lodges face towards the south and the view across the whole valley is quite beautiful. From the veranda the red kites may be seen hovering in the sky above, and at night the tawny owls can be heard calling in the woods.

Each of the barn owl and tawny owl lodges has their own picnic benches. The eagle owl lodges, being larger, have table and chairs on the veranda. Every lodge has its own private parking for 2 cars.
