This successful barber school located in Pa consisting of 2,200sq.ft provides state-of-the-art training for men and women in the art of barbering. Graduates receive a diploma and then are required to take a state barber exam. A total of 1,250 hours must be completed for barbers to graduate and all tests must be successfully completed with at lease a 75%. Topics covered include haircutting, hair styling, hair coloring, shampoo and massage, shaving and shaping salesmanship and equipment care just to name a few. The school trains both stylists and potential entrepreneurs who may someday open their own business. The equipment consists of 13 cutting/styling stations and chairs, 4 shampoo stations and 10 desks. Competition for this school is very limited as there are very, very few licensed barber teaches in the area. A year and a half from now you can apply for accreditation by the Department of Education and your students can get grants to attend the school.
Current owner is willing to stay on until new owner is licensed and trained properly. You will need a barber’s license for 5 years then take your state board test which is practical and theory. Or have a barber’s license for 1 year then apply to take your managers test, once this is obtained you can then train in licensed barber school (like this on for sale) for 1250 hours and then take your state board test to receive a barber teacher license.
