There is no other up market Patisserie as competition in the Ponsonby area. There was another Bakery approximately a block away but they have since shut down 6mths after we opened. There are two other Gourmet Deli type business in the area that are able to do catering, but some of the locals that have used them are quoted as saying that these Deli's are starting to price themselves out of their price range.
