All maps and prints are carefully mounted and displayed in the shop or gallery, in their own categories, there are maps of UK counties, of individual routs and of the world, so this shop is an essential destination for true collectors of antique maps, but also provides a unique and fascinating source of gifts and souvenirs for tourists from all over the world.

Quite recently a supplier was located for good quality reproduction maps which are made to look old, so in addition to the genuine originals, it is now possible to purchase a presentable reproduction of some maps at a lower price.

All items on sale can be framed on site as there is a framing workshops behind the main shop, but this service is not used a lot as most items are transported a long way after purchase

Another addition to the original business in 2005 was the introduction of Heraldic Art and Family History Plaques the owner also discovered two more possible ranges of compatible products which he is currently arranging to add to his existing stock and which should further boost the profitability of this business.

Diversification is required to boost the profits, however this can only be within certain parameters as the lease is restrictive and only allows specified ranges and related items to be sold, but it does include books and as the framing side is not very productive, a book shop in the back room would be an attractive addition.
